Gdańsk Merchant House

At the end of a narrow street, where the air smells of the sea and children set paper boats afloat in the puddles after the rain, stands an old townhouse. Its walls are woven from stories, with black beams like sketches against pale wood. This is the “Gdańsk” House – a place that tells of tenderness, simplicity, and great adventures within a small space.

Designed with the charm of old timber-framed houses – like those along the Motława River – it blends tradition with a child’s imagination. Slim and tall, as if it still remembers the stories of merchants, shipbuilders, and children drawing with chalk on the cobblestones. Inside, rooms are waiting for life to unfold – for tea with little mice, bedtime stories, and soft evening goodnights.

The house is handcrafted from natural plywood – with love and precision. It can be left in its raw version or painted together – perhaps as a classic townhouse with black timber frames, or as a whimsical home born from a child’s imagination.
