About Happy Mouse
Not everything in life can be planned. Sometimes it takes many years to return to what truly brings joy. For a long time we were both tied to corporate jobs – like so many others. Yet after hours, we would come back to what was closest to our hearts. For Krzysztof, it was the workshop: wood, tools, the scent of sawdust – his refuge and passion. For Dorota, it was style, aesthetics, media, and ideas on how to tell stories that inspire.
The turning point came with parenthood. We wanted to create something truly special for our child – durable, soulful, and full of imagination. That’s how the very first house was born. Handmade, with heart and great care. That’s when we realized it could be more than just a hobby.
Since then, the workshop has become the heart of our family’s daily life. It’s where we combine ideas, spend time together, create, and test new solutions. Each project grows out of conversations, sketches, and shared inspirations, then transforms into craftsmanship and stories that reach other families.
Over time, new models appeared – each one different, inspired by the places we visited: the architecture of Amsterdam, the atmosphere of Seville, the simplicity of Scandinavia, or the energy of New York.
Today, Happy Mouse is our shared work and our everyday life. Krzysztof is responsible for the workshop and design, while Dorota takes care of marketing, media, and styling. It’s a small family production – limited, artisanal, far from mass scale. Each house is handmade, with attention to detail, quality, and safety.
Every house is a story of its own. Sometimes a pretext for family play, sometimes a unique element of a child’s world – but always created with heart.
